Participates in Coastal Environmental Cleanup at Wonsando Beach

■ Korea Money Brokerage Corp. (KMB) conducts coastal environmental cleanup at Wonsando Beach in Boryeong.
■ Employees continue beach plogging activities to collect marine waste along the coast.

 

Korea Money Brokerage Corp. (KMB) (CEO Hae-young Woo) announces on the 12th that it conducts coastal environmental cleanup at Wonsando Beach. KMB employees continue volunteer beach plogging to collect waste scattered across the shore.

The collected waste includes numerous styrofoam pieces, which require urgent removal as they fragment into microplastics due to weathering. A participating employee says, “Joining this plogging activity raises my awareness about the environment as I realized the severity of the waste issue.”

KMB continues its environmental cleanup efforts at Wonsando Beach in collaboration with the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC).
