Korea Money Brokerage Corp. (CEO Woo Hae-young) announced on the 16th that it visited 'Nest of Sharing,' a free cafeteria in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, to volunteer for meal services and donate food supplies for the vulnerable.
Marking the second joint activity between KMB and KDIC (Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation) executives and employees, the volunteers shared warmth with neighbors by helping with lunch distribution, cleaning up, and guiding visitors. Especially, KMB donated 1 million won worth of kimchi and sesame oil to provide practical help to the cafeteria.
'Nest of Sharing' is a free cafeteria run by voluntary community donations and volunteering. It serves as a welfare safety net by providing warm meals to the vulnerable, including senior citizens living alone, the homeless, and the disabled.
An employee who participated stated, "By helping with the meal service and delivering the donations myself, I could deeply reflect on the true meaning of sharing once again."
